About Tanzanite Records

All that glitters isn’t gold. It could be Tanzanite Records, a new label with potential for a golden future. Established in 2011, Tanzanite is based on a sonic vision shared by Simon and Richard Dinsdale. Their mission: to add a fresh sparkle to the international house scene.

Don’t look so surprised... It was going to happen sooner or later. Richard’s spent the last six years conjuring up precision produced house and techno for labels such as Hotfingers, 303 Lovers, Flamingo, Toolroom and Ministry Of Sound. He’s spent just as many years as an international beat ambassador, weaving his skills to dancefloors across the globe. His own brand was always the next step in his glittering career.

Two heads are better than one, so Richard called on his brother’s business skills and equal passion for authentic grooves and the Camberley-based sound stable was born. Note the word stable; this isn’t another new label set solely for a handful releases and a dusty old Beatport page that no one ever visits, Tanzanite is drawn and designed with distinction and development. It’s ice blue lines and memorable motif stand out against the crowd... Just like the music.

The next year sees Richard and Simon roll out a lavish label launch. Joined by well established artists such as Sam Obernik, NDKj, Wally Lopez and many more, the Tanzanite release schedule is primed with exciting releases, each one loaded with the label’s adventurous, daring design. And that’s just the beginning; Richard knows the ropes and now he wants to help the new breed of exciting new talent – each one headhunted by his fine-tuned ears.

With their sounds locked down and ears firmly tuned into tomorrow, Tanzanite Records have arrived. And they’ve done so in style; watch out for their forthcoming parties where all that glitters will be their carnival fused glamour and glistening grooves. Rough diamonds with stone cold sonics, this new label definitely has a golden future.
